Mortgage by County publishes statistics derived from public mortgage records and official loan limits for general information. Nothing on the site is financial, legal or tax advice, a loan offer, a rate quote, a credit decision or a recommendation of any lender. Figures describe typical 2025 loans; your rate, costs and eligibility depend on your own circumstances and today's market. Confirm details with a licensed lender and with official sources.

Lender statistics

Lender figures summarize each institution's own HMDA filing. They reflect the borrowers and markets the lender serves and are not a rating of service or of compliance with any law. HMDA data alone cannot determine whether a lender complies with fair-lending laws.

Accuracy

We work carefully and publish our methods, but we cannot guarantee that the source data or our processing is free of errors. Use of the site is at your own risk; to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of its content.

Use of the data

HMDA records and official loan limits are public information. The tables we derive from them are offered under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license on the open data page; please credit Mortgage by County with a link. The site's design, text and code remain ours.
